Dr. Axel Müller – HTCO evolved from High Tech Computerdienste Oberrhein GmbH in Freiburg 20 years ago.

HTCO GmbH was founded in 1987 as a provider for computer services (hardware & software). We specialized in flow simulations (CFD) and allocated the required technical know-how of simulation for the processing and producing industries.

Being one of the first companies to deal with this novel technology, we have had the opportunity to follow the development of CFD at closest range and have therefore been able to increase our knowledge simultaneously to the scientific improvements.

In 1993 HTCO GmbH was incorporated into Steinbeis-Stiftung für Wirtschaftsförderung under the name of Steinbeis-Transferzentrum für Strömungssimulation und Strukturanalyse (STZ-HTCO). As the new name implies the focus has still been on CFD services. In 1999 the CFD activities were spun off and the independent company Dr. Axel Müller – HTCO was founded.
